Daily Diary

Days of Note: Christmas Eve Day

Sun: capricorn (earth/cardinal), 7:20am - 4:40pm (Lancaster time)
Moon: waning gibbous, leo (fire/fixed)
Earth: cold, cold, cold, windy, clear

Thoughts: thinking a bit about creative writing and tossing around potential story ideas, exploring characters and thinking about the nature of creative writing; spent some time talking politics with Dad (but not much) and thinking about "Law of Attraction" stuff with Jeff for an article he's working on

Actions: slept in a bit, headed to Panera in the morning to get some contractor work done, spent the afternoon at my parents' house hanging around with Jeff, mostly in my old room away from the TV; got some reading done, some napping; wrapped presents mid-afternoon; had dinner with the family and then some more hanging out in my room, some creative writing (started a short story that might turn into something after being inspired by Orson Scott Card's book on fiction writing); took a quick shower and got ready for midnight Mass at church (although we didn't get to bed until about 3am, I'll leave that for the following day's diary entry)

Connections: mostly just resting and enjoying having nothing much to do; gave up on trying to get too much work done, considering how noisy it was in Panera, but still got a nice number of hours in for the last two weeks, which is excellent
