Thoughts: Emily's website for her new "home business" is (in Jeff's words) "abhorrent" in how much it uses over-the-top enthusiasm combined with scare tactics and blatant consumerism, and does very much make the whole thing look like a pyramid scheme - just needed to get that out there; I'm anxious about finishing this article for W&P, and also about the eventual meeting for the PNC Editorial, though still not sure when that will be; also a bit anxious about writing a final post for the blog before going on hiatus (though this one is more being unsure how to put it, but still eager to make the official break and shift my focus); also, thinking about my work for the day and sending my first invoice to Ryan

Actions: going to Panera this morning for breakfast after swinging by the bank, spending some time this morning gathering data for the W&P article and trying to draw up an outline, after lunch running to the co-op for weekly groceries, then back here to do contractor work (depending on what Ryan has to say, if anything, on what I've done so far); at some point, I want to try to organize my new closet space some and finally unpack my clothes from the boxes in the basement

Connections: a lot of worry about other people's expectations and not feeling up to them, as well as being braced to feel annoyed by certain people (Emily, Cara, etc.) - definitely feeling pressure to withdraw from the world, or at least the online world for a while and just do my own thing, but not wanting to let anyone down or fall through on my commitments

Daily Tarot Card: The Chariot (VII) represents the role of the ego, our conscious sense of self, as a director of our actions and an expression of our will. Reigning in the wild impulses of our human animal natures, we strive to present to the world a coherent, individuated self-identity capable of navigating the challenges and obstacles of a world in constant flux and change around us. (My note: This seems to be a card of advice today, suggesting that I need to call upon my willpower to push through these tasks to completion.)
